사역동사의 능동태 기본 구조
make + 목적어 + 동사원형
The teacher made me clean the classroom.
(선생님은 내가 교실을 청소하게 했다.)
have + 목적어 + 동사원형
She had him fix the computer.
(그녀는 그에게 컴퓨터를 고치게 했다.)
let + 목적어 + 동사원형
My parents let me go out.
(부모님은 내가 나가도록 허락했다.)
사역동사의 수동태 전환
사역동사는 수동태로 바뀌면 목적어가 주어 자리로 올라오고, 동사원형이 to부정사로 바뀝니다.
make → be made to + 동사원형
능동: The teacher made me clean the classroom.
수동: I was made to clean the classroom.
(나는 교실을 청소하게 되었다.)
⏩ 수동태에서 동사원형이 to부정사가 된다는 점이 중요!
let → be allowed to + 동사원형
능동: My parents let me go out.
수동: I was allowed to go out.
(나는 밖에 나가는 것이 허락되었다.)
The doctor made him stop smoking.
(의사는 그에게 금연하도록 했다.)
→ He was made to stop smoking.
Mother made me clean the room.
(어머니는 나에게 방을 치우도록 하셨다.)
→ I was made to clean the room.
They made him go there alone.
(그들은 그를 그곳에 혼자 가도록 했다.)
→ He was made to go there alone.

지각동사의 수동태
지각동사를 수동태로 바꾸면, 목적어 → 주어가 되고, 동사원형 대신 to부정사가 들어옵니다.
능동: I saw him cross the street.
수동: He was seen to cross the street.
(그가 길을 건너는 것이 목격되었다.)
능동: She heard the baby cry.
수동: The baby was heard to cry.
(아기가 우는 것이 들렸다.)
⏩ 포인트: 능동태에서 동사원형이던 것이 수동태에서는 “to + 동사원형”으로 바뀜.
